Updated: Apr 21, 2019
Keeping up with trends in today's society requires dedication. It's not easy, especially in the makeup world. New products are popping up on your local drugstore shelves, beauty supply, Mac and the list goes on. At times these products are also on the pricier end, so the struggle feels twofold. The beauty community is always growing and changing. Beauty trends appear and disappear so quickly, trust me, I know. So, I was doing some research online, and I decided to share some of my favorite makeup tips with you. I have used a few of these myself, and they have helped me to create some of my best make up looks. Let's get started!
Makeup Tip #1
No Eyebrow Pencil No Problem
Here's one thing that I have learned- You do not need a specific make up product for every single area of your face. It's OK to save your coin and be bougie on a budget. Use a shade from your eyeshadow palette that is close to your natural eyebrow color, and it will fill in your eyebrows beautifully.
Makeup Tip #2
Blush In a Rush
Here's another cost-effective makeup tip that you can use to create some of the best makeup looks. Use your eyeshadow as a blush to complete your makeup look. Select a color that works for your skin tone, and drum roll, you've got blush.
Makeup Tip #3
Powder before Foundation
A popular trend that we have probably all seen on Youtube and Instagram is the powder before foundation trend. Thankfully the beauty gurus and Influencers of the world spread the word, so beauty and makeup lovers like myself got in on this hack. Not only does the powder before foundation give you a flawless finish, but it also helps with any oiliness throughout the day.
Makeup Tip #4
Cracks be gone
Ever dropped your eyeshadow palette and cracked some of your favorite shadows? No need to confess, it happens to the best of us. Here's what you can do to fix this issue. Simply add a few drops of your every day rubbing alcohol to the eyeshadow and smooth it back into the palette. You can thank me later!
Makeup Tip #5
Two for one
On days when you feel like switching up your eye look, your eyebrow pencil and a flame are your best friends. Hold your sharpened eyebrow pencil over a flame for a few seconds to warm up the product. The result, gel liner on a Friday night to give you a winged-out makeup look. Awesome right?
I hope you enjoyed those five make up tips that you can use to live your best make up life. As we already know, the makeup game is always changing, and it is evident that beauty is costly. Use these makeup tips or hacks to manage your makeup budget, enhance your natural beauty and keep afloat in this fast-paced world.
