My Everyday Makeup Routine- Beauty in a hurry
Updated: Aug 25, 2019
Time waits for no man! On off days, especially in the office setting, I really struggle to get out of the house on time. Every aspect of getting ready feels tedious and unpleasant (even the beauty aspect). Thanks to those moments, however, I have developed a strategy that I use when I am really strapped for time. Now, the truth is, most days I go for a full face of make-up because that's just who I am (I'm sticking to that explanation). But, here's a simplified version of my make-up routine whenever I am in a hurry.
The following steps will help you to recreate the makeup look in the picture above. You can always switch out the products used with your makeup products that you are familiar with.

7 Quick steps that you can use to enhance your natural beauty with makeup
1. Apply Concealer (LA Girl) under the eyes.
So, I guessed by now you've realized that primer is not a part routine. I start with my concealer first! Dab a bit of concealer under the eyes to brighten them up and then blend it out with a brush, sponge or your fingers. This is necessary for me as sometimes my eyes look really dark and puffy, so the concealer works to eliminate or hide the under eye imperfections.
2. Apply your Foundation (L'Oreal True Match)
Apply foundation using dots on the areas of your skin that have any spots or scars that you want to cover and blend it out. It is best to apply it using dots so that there's less product to blend out (Remember you don't have all the time in the world).
3. Apply Setting powder (Sacha Buttercup)
Apply setting powder to your under eye areas to prevent your concealer from creasing and the remainder of your face as well. This will help to brighten the under eye, and it will provide a seamless finish.
4. Lightly fill in your eyebrows (LA Girl Brow pencil)
Whenever I do my makeup, I have to fix my brows. Use either a brow pencil or a dip brow pomade to lightly fill in any gaps in your eyebrows. Clean up the bottom portion of the eyebrow with a concealer that is close to your shade.
5. Add a bit of blush (LA Girl Blush Collection)
Apply some blush to the cheeks to add a little color to the face. You can also lightly brush some of the blush on your nose as well.
6. Lift your lashes with mascara (L'Oreal)
Apply a bit of mascara to your lashes (both top and bottom lashes). We have no time for falsies!
7. Lip balm
This is definitely a necessary step for me. You can substitute with lip gloss or a lip product that you can apply fairly quickly. Lip balm is the best choice for me because I can do without even looking into a mirror.
